It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The Holidays are such a festive time of year. And we love decorating to make our home as festive and sparkly as possible. It's always fun pulling out the Christmas boxes from storage - almost as if you're unwrapping brand new things every year. We've always picked up holiday decorations along our travels so while decorating, we remember special things from vacations past.
Every year, we typically start decorating around the week of or before Thanksgiving and don't take them down until mid-January. We like to take advantage of the decorations for as long as we can.
Other holiday traditions we'll look forward to - Home-made Wilson Eggnog, watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (at least 10x) and Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carrey version), Otis Redding Holiday station on Pandora, Christmas at The Homestead with family and many nights spent with a glass of wine by the Christmas tree (all the lights out in the house and nothing but the Christmas tree twinkling.)
